Comment: Just installed this set in bedroom to replace 20 year old 15"Sony.
It looks great but it isnt!
The sound is unbelievably dreadful, as is the picture. Tried 3 different indoor aerials without improvement. Also Autosearched 4 times to seek a better reception -no result.
The old Sony, 200% better sound and picture, is now back in the bedroom.
Considering sending it back to Amazon but will probably use it as a PC Monitor, as its no good as a TV.

Comment: Really good tv, really well built, good remote, very good inbuilt freeview (as long as you have a good ariel source).
If you have sky in the house, and you can get a cable to your box, it is possible to use the sky dish as your digital ariel for the inbuilt freeview. This ensures fantastic quality pictures.
Would agree with others that the sound is tinny, and the volume levels are not big. If you muck about with the settings, you can make it better. This is a small point as its still a great tv.

Summary: Good picture but very poor sound
Comment: Bought this TV as a replacement for a faulty CRT tv. The first thing you notice is that the picture is crisp and clear and it is very easy to set up. However, the sound is aweful - very 'tinny' irrespective of the settings. There is very little difference in altering the volume from about 20% to 100%. Attaching a cheap set of powered speakers transforms it into a good buy.

Comment: Had a telly from Comet. It broke. They took ages to attempt to fix it and then ages to refund my money. Saw this telly. Bought it, it's great.

Comment: both me & the wife were very please with this Hannspree ht11-19-inch LCD TV Glossy black, it had all of the spec's that we required & the price compared far better then any deal in the highstreet & the price was a lot cheaper then the set which we had on order will argos, which we were still waiting for after 10 wks& it was out of stock through out the entire southwest.
