Comment: The image quality is excellent on this screen and hooked up to a ps3 the clarity of games and blu-ray movies is unbelievable. It also has freeview which is great and really makes a difference to your living room.
It also comes with a stand as well so added bonus.

Summary: Sony Rear Projection
Comment: This type of technology has been surpassed now but if you want a 50" screen that accepts HD for a small price this is the one to get. I work in the offshore industry and we had one of these sets on board for 4 years. It was constantly being bombarded with Xbox, vidio streaming and DVD play as well as just normal TV pictures. For the first three years of its life it was never turned off, always in constant use 24/7, giving it approx three times the normal domestic useage. The bulb was replaced after three years and the TV served another year without problem only to be replaced by a more up to date model, (it was in the budget at our last refit). I have had one of these sets now for three years with no problems,(touch wood), and payed £900 new. For me it has been a good investment and has made economic sense as the technology and prices are ever changing.

Comment: I have had this tv for 2 years now and it has been faultless, the hd picture quality is superb, HD-DVD, Blu-Ray and Xbox 360 all look amazing. The standard Sky (scart) picture is not bad considering the size of the screen, The tv is very light but it does take up more room than a normal lcd. if you have the room, and are on a budget you can't go wrong with one of these.

Comment: After 4 weeks the Projection Lamp FAILED.
Sony Service told me that it is NOT covered by the Warranty and it would have to be replaced at my expence at a very considerable cost.
So beware. Do not purchase from a Sony dealer. You will be safer going to a outlet that fully guarantee's the product like Comet for 1 year.
